All Abilities
Fundamentals
This class is designed for all abilities. It builds a balance of strength and mobility, and you definitely do not need to be flexible. Traditional yoga poses are broken down to their fundamental components enabling each student to understand how their muscles move their joints, and which ranges of movement have control and ease. From there, each pose can be rebuilt with stability and integrity. Poses and movements become attainable for every person attending. No one should ever feel ‘they can’t do yoga’. This class suits most people, if you are returning from injury through to more experienced yoga practitioners.
BookIntermediate to Advanced
Functional Vinyasa Flow
This class uses all the basics you will learn in the fundamentals practice, a deep understanding of your own movement possibilities. We work with a little more strength in this class, move a little quicker and there are more complicated transitions (how you move from pose to pose). Once you have a better grasp of how your body moves, the patterns and shapes it likes to make you start to flow, control of your body becomes fluid. There is always the opportunity to learn and practise arm balances in this more advanced session.

Tai Chi Exercise Classes
Yang 8 is a foundation level class derived from Yang 24 forms. It is attainable and can be performed in a few minutes. There is emphasis on postural control, body alignment, foot placement and breath, in both static and moving forms. It is because of the combination of these elements that Tai chi is recommended as a treatment model within healthcare services for fall prevention, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and neurological conditions.

Sport Massage Therapy
Sports massage therapy uses a variety of techniques to assist in the treatment of muscle injury, aiding recovery. Specific areas can be targeted to loosen adhesions within muscle fibres increasing circulation to help eliminate toxins from the muscle tissue. Touch can influence how we perceive pain and massage therapy can help moderate the pain experience inducing relaxation and a sense of calm. Appointments may include full assessments of posture, joint mobility, and gait. Massage treatment and optional exercise prescription if required. Sessions are tailored to the individual's requirements.

Thai Yoga Massage
Thai yoga massage is a practice closely related to Buddhism and the teaching of metta, which means ‘loving kindness’. The therapist uses their hands, fingers, elbows, feet and often their body weight to stretch and traction muscles while moving your body. Often referred to as ‘Lazy man's yoga’ you are encouraged to relax and focus on slow deep breathing. You and the therapist remain fully clothed for this practice, no oil or lotion is required. Thai yoga massage can reduce stress, improve muscle tone and flexibility, the main aim is to balance the physical and energetic body. It is a complementary to a yoga practice as there is similarity in alignment and shapes used to release the body.

Build Strength
Awareness. Movement
We will break our practices down into its constituent parts so that it becomes easier to achieve. It is the quality of movement and intention that makes us strong, not how many poses you can get through.
“Every class is working towards a new pose, but I like that some parts are similar and familiar. I like that Kate gives adaptations for those who may have certain restrictions but also trust us to know our own limits. She explains things with purpose and patience and sessions are not formulaic or repetitive. Kate makes sure you get to know everyone”
